I. Educational Objectives

This major is aimed at developing senior interdisciplinary specialists who have solid foundation in English as well as comprehensive knowledge and ability about Accounting, Financial Control, Economics and Law. Students are supposed to be qualified to undertake accounting, auditing and management consulting work in business enterprises, accounting firm especially in multinational corporation, international accounting firm and foreign trade organization, as well as institutions and government departments.


II. Educational Requirements

Students of this major mainly study the basic theory and principle in the domains of Accounting, Financial Control, Auditing and Business Administration, accepting basic training for accounting approach and skills, so that they process the qualification for being as international accounting practitioners.

Students who have completed program learning are expected

1. to master the English language, with a good display of strong abilities in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating;

2. to master the basic theoretical knowledge of Accounting, Chrematistics, Management Science and Economics;

3. to master the qualitative and quantitative  method in Accounting, and be able to analyze and solve the accounting problems;

4. to have good writing and language expression ability, interpersonal communication ability as well as information acquisition ability;

5. to be acquainted with national and international policies, laws and regulations as well as international practices concerning accounting;

6. to be capable of undertaking international accounting, auditing and management consulting;

7. to process the capability for international accounting practices.

IV. Curriculum and Credit Distribution

1. General Education Courses (51 credits)

Requirements: 41 credits for compulsory courses;10 credits for elective courses 

2.Basic Disciplinary Courses (44.5 credits)

    Requirements: the total of 44.5 credits for basic courses in the Discipline.

3. Specialty-Oriented  Courses(54 credits)

Requirements: 39 credits for compulsory specialty-oriented courses, including 14 credits for practice teaching; 15 credits for elective specialty-oriented courses.

4. Optional Courses(6 credits)

Requirements: 6 credits.

5. Second Class(Extracurricular Activities)(3 credits)
